LAURA CAMPBELL was born in Northern Ireland and relocated to the United States at 10 years of age. She attended Tulane University in New Orleans where she received her degree in Theatre Studies and International Relations. She went on to get her Masters Degree in Acting from Columbia University where she studied under some of the greats such as Kristin Linklater, Andrei Serban, and Anne Bogart. For her thesis performance at Columbia Laura worked with Tony Award-winning director Diane Paulus to adapt and stage a production of James Baldwin's "Another Country". Since graduating she has worked locally and regionally in theaters across the country from The Clurman in her solo performance off-Broadway to the Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre in Houston reviving the classics by Agatha Christie. She can also be seen on the big screen in the movie "Doomsdays", the small screen in many guest star roles on major television shows such as Quantico, Law and Order, and Blue Bloods, and now you can see her on Seed & Spark in the web series "Livin' the Dream" created by the Spurlock Sisters for which she won Best Actress at the Austin Webfest. In her most recent venture, Laura has co-founded a women driven production company, Dynamo Studio, that is committed to creating theatre and film to raise awareness and catalyze conversation around women's issues, while supporting women's advocacy groups in our community.
